THE INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE AQUACULTURE STUDY PROGRAM

Generic Skill

  • Graduates who are capable of applying logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the development and implementation based on science and technology aquaculture.
  • Graduates who are responsible, discipline, comply to the law as a citizen, internalize norms and academic ethics in doing their profession and advancing their career
  • Graduates who internalize spirit of self-reliance, independence, resilience, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and have social sensitivity in practicing and solving problems in aquaculture
  • Graduates who are able to communicate with all parties involve (supervisors, colleagues and peers, both internal and external of the institution), are able to apply technology and Internet of Things (IoT) to communicate, advancing their knowledge and solve the problem in aquaculture and related fields.

Specific Skill

  • Graduates who have knowledge and skills need in tropical aquaculture production and development and are able to use them to make decision and to overcome challenges arise at various types of aquaculture. Skills and knowledge acquired including cultivate commercial commodity of aquaculture, formulate artificial feed, culture natural feed, disease diagnose and disease control, fish health management, develop sustainable aquaculture system and technology, seed production, water quality management, aquaculture spatial planning, aquaculture business and entrepreneurship.
  • Graduates who understand the concept, advantages, and constraints in applying and developing principles of good aquaculture practices, maximizing utilization of resources to achieve targeted production and sustainable aquaculture.
  • Graduates who are prepared in designing and conducting experiment, analyzing data, communicating findings and transfer knowledge and technology to society in general
  • Graduates who are able to inspire society to develop aquaculture entrepreneurship, promote environmental conservation, practice sustainable aquaculture.
