Semarang – Students from the Aquaculture Program at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) have once again made their mark in a prestigious national competition. Indra Putrajaya, Ahmad Fadhil Pramudhitya, and Agustian Dirgantara Husada, a team from UNDIP, won 1st place in the Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah Nasional (LKTIN) 2025 competition in the Aquaculture category.
Led by Indra Putrajaya, the team presented their paper on “Utilization of Semi-Intensive Shrimp Farming Waste as a Medium for Marine Worm (Nereis sp.) Cultivation”. This innovative work focuses on utilizing the waste from semi-intensive shrimp farming as a medium for cultivating marine worms, which has numerous benefits, including pollution reduction and environmental quality enhancement. Their research is seen as a valuable contribution to sustainable aquaculture practices.
This achievement showcases the commitment and creativity of UNDIP students in developing innovative ideas that benefit both aquaculture and the environment. It also stands as a point of pride for the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science at UNDIP.
