Aquaculture, Semarang. Monday, March 20, 2023, the inauguration ceremony of the Aquaculture Study Program Fish Quarantine Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University, was held. The inauguration ceremony for the laboratory was opened openly at the laboratory by BKIPM and the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the dean of FPIK, aquaculture staff, students, and BKIPM, Dr. Ir. Pamuji Lestari, M.Sc, as head of BKIMP and staff.

The Fish Quarantine Laboratory belonging to the UNDIP FPIK Aquaculture Study Program, is the only fish quarantine laboratory owned by similar study programs in Indonesia. The laboratory inauguration activity began with a ribbon-cutting event in front of the laboratory entrance, carried out by Dr. Ir. Pamuji Lestari, M.Sc and Dean of FPIK UNDIP, followed by tour activities and a brief explanation of the laboratory. In closing, a group photo was taken with the dean and head of BKIPM and students in front of the laboratory. Hopefully, the inauguration of the fish quarantine laboratory can support learning, research, and community service in realizing Undip’s mission to produce superior and competitive graduates.
